About the Role
We're looking for a Content Creator to lead content execution and social media presence for JunkStart, capturing real jobs, real crews, and real results across our corporate operations and growing franchise network. This is an execution-first role: you'll be shooting, editing, and posting the content yourself, not directing a team to do it, with room to help shape broader marketing efforts as we grow.
This is a great fit for someone who's creative, self-directed, comfortable wearing multiple hats, and energized by building a brand's voice from the ground up rather than executing someone else's playbook.
What You'll Own
- Content Creation & Video Production — Shoot and edit short-form video and photo content across platforms (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, Facebook) that captures the real JunkStart experience.
- Social Media Management — Own our day-to-day social presence and posting calendar, keeping content consistent and on-brand.
- Brand Voice & Copywriting — Write captions and copy that reflect our brand voice and help humanize JunkStart on social.
- Franchise Network Support — Travel periodically to franchise locations to capture content and support local social efforts.
- Marketing Coordination — Support broader marketing projects and administrative work as needed.
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of hands-on content creation experience (video and photo)
- Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)
- Comfortable being the one behind the camera, not just directing someone else
- Based in San Antonio; this is an in-market, on-site role
- Self-starter who's comfortable in a fast-moving, still-being-built environment
- Experience or familiarity with the franchise business model is a plus, not required

- Salary: $50K–$65K, commensurate with experience

- Structure: Open to full-time W2 or contract-to-hire (60–90 day trial period)
