Team Leader - Operations

Junk It is looking for a dependable, hard-working Team Lead to help manage daily junk removal operations and serve as the main point of contact for customers in the field. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable leading a small crew, communicating with clients, solving problems on-site, and making sure each job is completed efficiently, safely, and professionally.

The Team Lead will be responsible for running day-to-day junkout jobs, coordinating with customers, managing job details, loading and hauling items, and ensuring every client has a great experience from start to finish. This person should be organized, physically capable, trustworthy, and able to represent Junk It well while working at homes, businesses, construction sites, and cleanout projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead daily junk removal and cleanout jobs
• Communicate professionally with clients before, during, and after jobs
• Manage job details, scheduling updates, photos, and payment collection when needed
• Load, haul, sort, and dispose of unwanted items, debris, furniture, appliances, and other materials
• Direct crew members on-site and keep jobs moving efficiently
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized truck/trailer setup
• Make judgment calls in the field and communicate issues quickly
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Junk It professionally
• Help ensure jobs are completed on time and to company standards

Qualifications:

• Leadership or crew management experience is a plus
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license required
• Comfortable driving a truck/trailer preferred
• Able to lift heavy items and perform physical labor throughout the day
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Comfortable using a phone for calls, texts, photos, job notes, and basic scheduling/payment tasks

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
