Responsibilities:
- Use of cash register and credit card machine
- Answer phones
- Loading and unloading plants, supplies, and sod deliveries
- Assist supervisors in daily activities for the garden center
- Professionally interact with customers at our retail garden center
- Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Assist in ordering materials, scheduling, and production for enhancements
- Knowledge of plants
- Landscaping and retail sales experience highly desired
- Flexibility to work Saturdays
- Strong customer service skills
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside and inside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)
- Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
