Juniper Tree Recovery is seeking passionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Therapists and Substance Abuse Counselors to join our growing clinical team. We are currently hiring professionals credentialed as LCSW, LPCC, CSW, LPCA, and CADC.
Juniper Tree Recovery is a 79-bed residential substance use disorder and dual-diagnosis treatment facility with outpatient services located in Owingsville, Kentucky. We provide evidence-based treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions in a compassionate, recovery-focused environment.

This position offers the opportunity to work with individuals seeking recovery from addiction and mental health challenges while collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary treatment team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning appropriate to licensure and certification level
- Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling sessions
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams
- Participate in treatment team meetings and case reviews
- Assist clients in developing recovery and discharge plans
- Ensure compliance with Kentucky Medicaid, ASAM Criteria, CARF standards, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part 2 requirements
- Provide crisis intervention and recovery support services as needed
- Deliver trauma-informed and evidence-based treatment interventions
- Utilize specialized therapeutic modalities when trained and credentialed
QualificationsRequired
- Kentucky credential as one of the following:
- LCSW
- LPCC
- CSW
- LPCA
- CADC
- Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Commitment to ethical and professional standards
Preferred
- Experience in substance use disorder treatment
- Experience with co-occurring mental health disorders
- Knowledge of ASAM Criteria
- Experience in residential and/or outpatient treatment settings
- Experience facilitating group therapy and individual counseling
- Experience with trauma-informed care
- Training or certification in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
- Experience providing Trauma-Focused Therapy
- Familiarity with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Familiarity with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Experience using Motivational Interviewing techniques
