Juniper Paints is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Part-Time Assistant Store Manager to help support the daily operations of our Benjamin Moore paint store in Louisville, Colorado. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, staying organized, and contributing to a team-oriented small business environment.
The Assistant Store Manager works closely with store leadership to provide excellent customer service, assist with paint and product orders, maintain store organization and merchandising standards, and support daily store operations. This role also includes opening and closing responsibilities and helping maintain a clean, professional, and well-stocked store environment.
This position requires availability to work full shifts every Monday and Saturday.

Responsibilities & Duties
- Take paint orders from customers, gather those products, tint, shake, document, and and then load this product into our customers vehicle.
- Assist customers with paint products, color selection, and related sundry items
- Create and process paint and product orders for customer pickup with order originating from phone calls, emails, and texts.
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and assist customers with questions and orders
- Process sales transactions, returns, and account payments accurately through the POS system
- Help stock, organize, and merchandise store inventory
- Monitor shelf pricing and maintain accurate product labeling
- Safely operate tinting equipment, computers, and store machinery
- Assist with opening and closing store procedures, including bank deposits as assigned
- Maintain knowledge of store products and paint lines
- Support inside sales efforts, including follow-up calls and customer outreach
- Assist with outside sales activities as directed
- Support the General Manager with day-to-day store operations and team coordination
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to frequently lift 8–15 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift 40–75 pounds
- Availability to work full shifts on Mondays and Saturdays
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous retail, customer service, or paint industry experience
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle customer concerns professionally and effectively
- Basic computer and point-of-sale system experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Schedule
- Part-time
- Full shifts required on Mondays and Saturdays
- Additional weekday hours may be available based on business needs
Pay: $22.00 - $26.50 per hour
