We’re looking for a Dietary Manager who is excited to join our passionate, authentic, and courageous team. Our ideal candidate is an energetic, compassionate leader who inspires their team and manages kitchen operations with organization and care. They understand the importance of nutrition in recovery and uphold the highest standards of food service.
Responsibilities:
Direct Food Service Department to prepare family-style meals that meet FDA Food Code standards
Plan and post staff schedules, manage labor budget
Ensure menu is reviewed and approved by registered dietitian annually
Maintain health department inspection compliance
Oversee housekeeping and sanitation procedures
Manage inventory, vendor bids, and kitchen supplies
Train and supervise kitchen staff, including hiring and performance management
Develop and maintain emergency and safety protocols
Coordinate with Executive Director and families on food planning
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent; culinary training or experience preferred
Demonstrated experience as a chef with supervisory and management skills
Safe-Serve Sanitation training certificate required
