Title: Nursery Attendant
Reports to: Nursery Supervisor
Effective Hire Date: Immediately
Shift: Sunday, 8:45am to 11:15am
Position Summary:
The nursery attendant shall be responsible for the operations of the nursery, caring for infants through age 4 years, for 2.5 hours on Sunday mornings. Other hours may be available for special events.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in infant/toddler childcare
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must submit to background check
- Minimum of 18 years old
- CPR / First Aid trained or within 6 months of hire
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, caring, stimulating, and well-organized learning environment that promotes children’s learning
- Maintain a written log for child check-in/check-out
- Cognitive of Special Dietary concerns / issues at snack time.
- Communicate with parents if there is a discipline or behavior concern
- Keep toys and surfaces sanitized each week before leaving.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2.5 per week
