Child Care Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for implementing educational activities, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring the well-being of each child in their care.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to explore and express themselves.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing strong classroom management skills to maintain order.
• Provide care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety, comfort, and developmental needs are met.
• Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and communicate findings with parents or guardians.
• Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment for all children.
• Collaborate with other staff members to support children with disabilities or special needs.
• Organize daily activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom and daycare facilities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers or preschools is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Excellent classroom management skills to create a structured learning environment.
• Experience with infant care is highly desirable.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.
• Ability to work effectively with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
• A nurturing attitude towards children along with strong communication skills to engage with parents and staff.
• A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
