Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Prepare food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales and maximize customer satisfaction
- Manage cashier responsibilities including processing payments, giving change, and balancing registers at shift end
- Assist with food prep, cooking, and plating to ensure timely delivery of orders in a quick service or fast food setting
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces by bussing tables and adhering to sanitation protocols
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation and food service environments, including quick service or fast food restaurants
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly and confidently
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods
- Experience working in a restaurant or retail environment is preferred; culinary experience is a plus
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as bussing tables or food prep
