No prior coaching experience is needed—paid training will be provided.
As an Assistant Junior Golf Coach, you’ll assist in running golf programs, leading and instructing groups of children aged 3-15, and creating engaging class plans and activities.
The position requires enthusiasm for working with kids, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage groups effectively.
About JGPA:
The Junior Golf Preparatory Academy (JGPA) offers dynamic and educational golf experiences for children, 3-15 years of age. As the largest junior program in central Florida, we coach over 2000 students across four locations. Additionally, we provide consulting services to international golf federations and other academies. Our "preparatory experience" aims to prepare kids with valuable life skills and a lifelong passion for the sport.
About the Role:
As an Assistant Junior Golf Coach at JGPA, you'll assist our main coaches in delivering engaging golf classes for kids. You’ll work with Program Directors to support JGPA students’ development at all ages and skill levels. Classes run daily from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM and all day on weekends, offering flexible hours to accommodate your schedule. This role provides opportunities for growth into a full-time coaching position and the chance to take on private lessons with commissioned pay.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and support class experiences
- Assist and support coaches, manage kids, and run your own coaching stations
- Coach kids of various skills levels in different types of classes
- Guide small groups on the course during on-course classes
- Developing class plans with directors and fellow coaches
- Supporting academy events like Parent Child Tournaments
Location and Time Commitment:
- Part-time, 15-20 hours per week, with potential for more. Let’s discuss!
