Juniata College, an NCAA Division III Institution, invites applications for a full-time Assistant Field Hockey Coach-Intern. This is a 12-month position that includes a monthly stipend, room, board and full benefits. Juniata is a co-educational, liberal arts college and highly regarded for its academic excellence. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; assisting the Head Field Hockey Coach with all operations of the field hockey program, including but not limited to, recruiting, athlete and team development, practice planning, academic monitoring, team travel and meet management. Key Responsibilities:Leading recruiting responsibilities: “Recruiting Coordinator” - communication with PSAs, database management, visit planning, and calendar scheduling.Coordinating travel arrangements: meals, lodging, practices.Supporting all practice and match preparations. Conducting individual workouts and team skill development sessions. Contributing to scouting, game-day strategy, and in-game decision making. Assisting with summer camps, fundraising, and alumni engagement. Participating in departmental functions and committee work as needed. Supporting athletic operations and game-day management.
