Jung is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Maintenance to lead fleet maintenance operations across multiple business groups and locations. This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, compliance, and cost-effective performance of a fleet of approximately 150 pieces of equipment.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will shape the maintenance strategy for the organization, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and develop high-performing maintenance leaders. What You'll Do
Lead Maintenance Operations
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for maintenance operations across multiple fleets, locations, and maintenance functions.
- Drive fleet reliability, equipment uptime, preventive maintenance compliance, and service quality.
- Establish maintenance standards, processes, and best practices that promote consistency and operational excellence.
- Partner with Operations and Equipment Solutions leadership to align maintenance strategies with business goals and customer expectations.
Develop High-Performing Teams
- Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance managers and maintenance leaders across the organization.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, continuous improvement, and employee development.
- Build organizational capability by strengthening leadership bench strength and technical expertise.
Drive Operational and Financial Performance
- Own maintenance cost performance, budgets, vendor relationships, and efficiency initiatives.
- Review and approve significant repair decisions and escalated equipment issues.
- Monitor fleet performance, maintenance KPIs, compliance metrics, and financial results to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead initiatives that improve asset utilization, reduce downtime, and optimize equipment life cycles.
Ensure Compliance and Safety
- Ensure compliance with all applicable DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and company safety requirements.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure maintenance operations support organizational safety goals.
