Join the team at J.W. Jung Seed Company , an industry leader in mail-order and retail gardening. With six garden centers across Wisconsin, Jung Seed Company ships thousands of quality seeds, plants, and gardening accessories to all 50 states.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Seasonal Outdoor Nursery Worker to support the daily Nursery operations at our Randolph, WI location.
Shift: Monday through Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM
What You’ll Do:
- Potting and planting items sold in our catalogs and Garden Centers
- Maintaining Nursery plants: hoeing, digging, weeding
- Monitor plants for healthy growth
- Pulling orders for shipping to our customers and stores
- Operate tractors and other company vehicles.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work both with a team and independently.
- Possess strong attention to detail
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work in all types of weather including extreme heat.
- Ability to team lift up to 50lbs
- Can stand, squat, sit, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.
- Prior plant or growing experience preferred, but not required
