Join Our Summer Team in the Great Outdoors!
The Juneau County Forestry and Parks Department is hiring energetic Seasonal Park Employees for Castle Rock Park, Wilderness Park, and our other beautiful outdoor sites. If you enjoy working outside, helping visitors, and being part of a fun, active team, this is a great way to spend the summer! Positions run roughly Memorial Day through Labor Day, with flexible start and end dates.
Roles Available
Grounds Maintenance
- Mowing, trimming, campsite upkeep, and general grounds care
- Assisting with projects and equipment operation
- Helping enforce park policies
- Variety of hands-on outdoor tasks
Office Staff
- Greeting visitors and answering questions
- Camper check-in, reservations, and pass sales
- Using office equipment and balancing end-of-day totals
- Assisting with both office and grounds needs
What You’ll Need
- Friendly communication skills
- Willingness to work outdoors in all conditions
- Ability to work independently and stay motivated
- Basic math and office abilities
- Valid driver’s license and age 16
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use required safety equipment
