Position Overview:
June Jacobs Labs is seeking a reliable and professional Administrative Assistant to provide short-term support (4–6 weeks) to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). This is a full-time, on-site role, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This role will also serve as the front-facing point of contact for the office, ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative and operational support across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the COO with daily administrative tasks and coordination
- Manage and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Respond to doorbell, greet, and assist visitors
- Serve as the main point of contact for general office inquiries
- Sort, distribute, and manage incoming and outgoing mail
- File, scan, and manage physical and electronic records
- Support overall office operations and team needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment
- Prepare basic reports, documents, and spreadsheets as needed
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support leadership and operations
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of prior administrative experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and email communication
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred
