Job Summary
JUNCTION CITY SCHOOL is accepting applications for a part-time Paraprofessional/Instructional Aide position for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualified applicants must possess an AA degree, or equivalent, or successful completion of the Instructional Aide Proficiency Test. Applicants must also enjoy working with kids! Position hours are 8:00-12:30 Monday-Friday when school is in session.

Junction City School is a small, rural, one-site district located in the town of Junction City, in Trinity County, California. Our beautiful campus is located on ten acres near the base of the Trinity Alps, along the Trinity River. We are frequently recognized as a California Distinguished School, and we take pride in our wonderful little school! Junction City School serves approximately 70 students in grades TK-8. We have an amazing nutrition program, a wonderful school garden, a progressive art and music program, and a very successful after school program that offers activities, academic intervention, and homework assistance. We also have an intramural sports program, and many other student activities and opportunities. At our school, there is a strong focus on a well-balanced education for every student, with high standards aimed at excellence and student empowerment. We have a whole-school family atmosphere, and our staff, students, and community work closely together to create an inclusive and safe environment.
