Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence:
- Ensure outbound materials are shipped and documented according to SOPs.
- Identify and report shipping discrepancies; monitor shipping claims through completion.
- Conduct monthly finished goods inventory counts.
- Ensure outbound shipments and delivery schedules are met.
- Rigorously monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on shipping performance metrics.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries related to shipping; provide shipment tracking information and updates.
- Establish and maintain relationships with shipping vendors and carriers; negotiate shipping rates and contracts to optimize costs and service.
- Continuous Improvement & Best Practices:
- Develop and implement best practices and procedures for material handling, shipping, auditing, and safety.
- Quantify time savings achieved through process improvements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities within shipping and logistics processes.
- Explore automation solutions and technology upgrades within outbound freight and shipping processes.

- 5 years of experience in a related field; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft 360.
