Job Description:
Jumpstart Childcare Center is hiring for a Teacher to join our staff. We serve children from ages 6 weeks to 5 years and are looking for someone flexible, reliable, and ready to support wherever needed throughout the center. The Teacher position would assist in day-to-day operations of the center including, but not limited to:
- Leading classroom activities
- Assisting in daily care of children
- Designing a classroom curriculum that fosters growth and engagement
- Implementing lesson plans that help our children learn and develop, socially and emotionally
- Navigating a high-energy classroom environment
Job Requirements:
- We prefer individuals to have an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or some Early Childhood Education courses and experience
- We provide funding for and encourage professional development.
- Individual must be willing to comply with DCFS requirements within the first month of hire
- Must love working with children and encouraging growth and learning
- Must work well with others
Benefits:
- The hourly wage of this position is dependent on education and experience and will range between $15-18.50/hour base pay.
- We fund the process to become teacher qualified after employee is on board for a 30-day probationary period, meets all requirements set by the center, and guarantees to stay with the company
