Part-Time Animal Caretaker

Jumping Jack Dog Ranch is growing and we are looking for one part-time dog caretaker to join our 35 person strong team! Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, physically active and loves dogs and people. We have an amazing team we have been building since we opened in 2017, and we have a no-drama policy. All employees are cross-trained in bathing, kennel and office within their first year of employment.

Holidays and weekends are required. We are specifically looking for someone who has a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Feeding, medicating and bathing/drying dogs
• Walking dogs to/from play-yards and photographing them with our iPhones
• Cleaning dog suites, disinfecting yards
• Hiking dogs on nature trails
• Attention to detail to dogs behavioral and emotional needs
• Monitoring dogs around the swimming pool (must be able to swim)
• Able to work in any and all weather
• Able to lift 50 pounds frequently

Qualifications

• Experience working with dogs preferred
• Ability to work weekends and holidays required
• Consistently supervise animals during various activities
• Must be flexible with their schedule- able to flex hours up and down as needed
• Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
• Must be willing to work in a fast paced environment
• Must be on-time and reliable
