Job Summary
As a Front Desk Cashier / Membership Sales associate, you will be the first and last person most guests meet. You will check families in, take payment, keep the line moving, and help the right guests join our new month-to-month Weekday and Anyday memberships.
This is a cashier role with a real sales piece: a short, honest offer at the counter—not a hard close. You will recommend the plan that matches when the family actually jumps, explain price and terms clearly, and complete enrollment in our POS. Full register, waiver, and membership training is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, fast customer service at the front desk—greet guests, answer questions, and keep check-in moving
- Ring tickets, grip socks, merchandise, parties, and other front-desk sales accurately
- Confirm current waivers and jumper photos before guests enter the park
- Handle cash, cards, and end-of-shift drawer procedures with care
- Give every paying jumper (or parent) a brief membership offer during checkout
- Recommend Weekday or Anyday based on when the guest usually jumps—not a long menu of options
- Quote primary membership plus family add-on pricing when two or more immediate family members jump
- Explain price, what the plan includes, month-to-month auto-renewal, how to stop the next bill, named jumpers, and weekday vs. holiday rules before the guest agrees
- Confirm a working email on the account before completing a membership sale so the guest receives their contract
- Follow park rules for tickets vs. memberships (including when a ticket can and cannot be converted)
- Keep the front desk clean, stocked, and ready, including membership signage and sock inventory
- Resolve routine guest questions independently; escalate refunds, billing issues, and contract disputes to a manager
- Support opening and closing, birthday parties, group events, and other park operations as needed
- Communicate clearly with court monitors, managers, and guests
Qualifications & Requirements
- Friendly, outgoing personality and a genuine comfort talking with parents and kids
- Comfortable handling money and learning a point-of-sale system
- Willing to make a short, honest product offer at the register (we train the script and the details)
- Strong attention to detail—names, emails, the correct plan, and complete check-in
- Clear, positive communication in a noisy, fast-paced lobby
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Able to stay calm and professional when the park is busy
- Ability to stay on your feet during shifts
- Must be at least 17 years old (or meet local employment age requirements)
- No prior membership-sales experience required—enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
