Position Details
- Setting: School-Based Services (no travel required)
- Placement: Exclusive school placement
- Schedule: Hours vary by assignment
- Pay Rate: $20–$23 per hour
Responsibilities
- Support Classroom Teachers: Assist with instructional activities, classroom organization, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Support Student Learning: Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce lessons, assist with assignments, and provide accommodations for students with special educational needs.
- Promote Positive Behavior: Monitor and guide student behavior in classrooms and during school activities, ensuring compliance with school policies and fostering a safe, respectful atmosphere.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or at least 60 college credits or successful completion of the Paraprofessional Praxis Pro Exam
