What are the responsibilities and job description for the SALES REPRESENTATIVE position at Juma-Agro?
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop new distributor and grower relationships.
- Conduct technical and commercial field visits.
- Plan, implement, and monitor field trials.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand Juma's market presence.
- Work closely with distributor partners to drive sales and technical support.
- Maintain CRM records and report commercial performance metrics.
- Participate in technical training sessions, industry events, and customer meetings.
- Proven experience in agricultural sales.
- Knowledge of plant nutrition and/or crop protection.
- Established network and strong relationships within the regional agricultural market.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
- Fluent English required (Spanish is a plus).
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strong organizational skills, and results-oriented approach.
- Experience with horticulture, vegetables, berries, or fruit crops.
- Existing relationships with distributors such as Nutrien, Simplot, Southern Ag, Diamond R, or similar agricultural distribution companies.
