Van Driver

Julius Silvert is hiring a Part Time Van Driver to join our growing team. For over 100 years, our family-owned business has proudly served customers along the east coast while growing our organization and valuing all team members. Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment
• Leaving from our Philadelphia location & making deliveries to Philadelphia & surrounding areas
• Unload products from our trucks by utilizing hand carts and placed in designated customer areas
• This may include transporting products down ramps, stairs, or docks in all weather conditions.
• Handling products with care when delivering
• Responsible for keeping company trucks in good condition
• Operate vehicles in a variety of traffic and weather conditions
• Representing the Julius Silvert brand, by providing our customers with friendly and professional customer service

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Valid & in good standing driver's license
• Experience utilizing a hand truck
• Clean driving record
• Flexible with working hours
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background check and a physical & drug screen)
• Ability to lift 50lbs
