Job Overview
As an Entry Level Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. In this position, you will assist with performing a variety of maintenance tasks that keep our equipment and systems running efficiently. You will be tasked with helping maintain electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and facilities maintenance. Training will be provided for the appropriate candidate who is willing to work and who is reliable.
What you'll do
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems alongside contractors with programmable logic controllers and ohmmeters.
- Assist with welding tasks as needed to maintain structural integrity and functionality.
- Conduct facilities maintenance tasks, including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs to enhance workplace safety and comfort.
- Participate in maintenance projects, providing hands on assistance to ensure timely completion while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Adhere to HACCP/GMP food safety requirements and assist with maintaining facility compliance.
- Assist with equipment and facility sanitation by disassembly and reassembly of production equipment and perform equipment setting adjustments during production startup after sanitation is complete.
Experience
- Proficiency using hand tools and perform basic repairs.
- Familiarity with welding techniques and practices is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to show up on time and be available for emergency repairs.
- Willingness to work and learn. On the Job Training will be provided.
