Duties
- Safely operate a delivery van, a manual transmission vehicles.
- Load and unload flowers efficiently, ensuring proper handling and securing of products. .
- Navigate assigned routes confidently, adhering to traffic laws and company policies to ensure punctual deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles to verify safety standards are met before each trip.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments and deliveries.
- Communicate with other employees regarding route adjustments or delivery updates.
- Assist with other duties around the store.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role with knowledge of route planning and navigation.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record;
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks and some knowledge of the Illinois and Iowa area.
