Julian's Patisserie and Café in Folsom, CA is looking for one baker to join our team. We are located on 6610 Folsom Auburn Rd St. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and engaged. Position is full time and has a steady schedule. You will have all of your afternoons free!
This is also a tipped position and engaging customer service is a must. Base pay is $18.00 per hour and tip wages vary anywhere from an additional $4-$7 per hour resulting in pay between $22 and $25 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Weigh and measure ingredients
- Mix and blend batters
- Experience in Laminated Doughs
- Baking of Pastries and creation of desserts on a daily basis
- Set oven temperatures and monitor or modify as needed
- Ice, glaze, and decorate baked goods
- Prepare and maintain inventory
- Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Early AM Shift begins at 4am
Qualifications
- Attention to detail in all aspects of baking
- Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a professional Baker
- Experience with Laminated Doughs
- Food Safety Handlers Certificate
