About the Role

We are a locally owned dry cleaning business looking for a dependable, customer-friendly Pickup & Delivery Driver to be the face of our brand on the road. You'll be making scheduled stops at customer homes and our store locations. Picking up garments, dropping off completed orders, and making sure every interaction leaves a great impression.

This is not just a driving job. You're representing our business every time you pull up to someone's front door. We need someone who takes that seriously, communicates well, and handles customer belongings with care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Pick up garments and laundry from customer homes on a scheduled daily route
• Deliver completed dry cleaning and laundry orders back to customers and store locations
• Properly tag and organize items to ensure nothing gets mixed up or lost
• Verify orders at pickup and delivery. Confirm items, check for damage, and note any special instructions
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner at their door
• Maintain an accurate log of pickups, deliveries, and any customer notes
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and ready for the next day
• Communicate route updates, delays, or customer concerns promptly to management
• Assist with store drop-offs and inter-store transfers as needed

Schedule

• Monday through Friday only — no weekend shifts
• Shift hours: 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM

• Reliable and on time: Customers plan their mornings around our pickups. Showing up late, or not at all, isn't an option.
• Friendly and professional: You're comfortable talking to people at their front door and can represent the business warmly, even on a busy day.
• Detail-oriented: Mixing up orders or delivering to the wrong address is a big deal. You double-check your work.
• Self-managed: You can follow a route, handle unexpected changes, and stay productive without constant check-ins.
• Careful and respectful: You treat customers' clothing like it matters because to them, it does.
• Trustworthy: You'll be in customers' driveways and handling their personal belongings. Honesty and integrity are essential.
• Calm and problem-solving: Traffic happens, addresses are wrong, customers aren't home. You handle it professionally and let us know.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable driving a company vehicle in local neighborhoods and business areas
• Ability to lift and carry garment bags and laundry bundles (up to 30 lbs)
• Basic smartphone skills. You'll use a phone or app for route tracking and communication
• Strong sense of direction and time management
• Previous delivery, courier, or customer-facing driving experience is a plus but not required
