Julian & Grube is seeking a highly motivated accounting assistant to join our administrative team. This person is responsible for performing accounting and clerical tasks within an office setting to support daily operations.
Accounting Support:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records for governmental clients.
- Prepare and post journal entries to client trial balances
- Prepare supporting schedules for financial statements and audit engagements.
- Verify mathematical accuracy of accounting records and reports.
Skills:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Time management skills to prioritize and complete a side variety of tasks throughout the day
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at once.
- Ability to problem solve and work independently
- Experience using Word and Excel.
- Capability to communicate well with management and others.
- Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature.
