What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Cashier/Customer Service Associate - Part time position at JULIAN GOLD?
*Note: This position in Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Greet customers approaching merchandise check out desk
Identify correct customer account in customized point of sale operating system
Verify correct information with customer
Answer customers’ questions and provide information regarding the sale as applicable
Process sale by establishing or identifying price of goods, and tabulate bills using customized cash
Process payments by cash, check, credit cards or
Offer customers carry-out service at the completion of transaction
Bag or box merchandise or prepare proper paperwork for packages to be shipped
Instruct sales support regarding gift-wrap
Process merchandise returns and exchanges
Keep periodic balance sheets of amounts and numbers of transactions
Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
Monitor checkout areas to ensure they are stocked with appropriate supplies
Job requirements: Strong Customer Service Skills; Keyboard and 10-key ability; Weekend work capability; Team Player
