Julian Charter School, Inc. is seeking an innovative and visionary Superintendent to lead a diverse network of WASC-accredited, free public charter schools serving students throughout Southern California.

With six unique programs offering home study, site-based, and hybrid learning opportunities, JCS provides families with meaningful options to meet their child’s educational goals.
We’re looking for a Superintendent who is passionate about public education, skilled in strategic leadership, and committed to fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement across our schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership aligned with JCS’s mission, goals, and strategic plan.
- Oversee academic excellence, fiscal integrity, and operational efficiency across all programs.
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors to ensure compliance, accountability, and transparency.
- Lead and develop a strong team of administrators and educators focused on student success.
- Represent JCS in the broader educational community with professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field
- Administrative Services Credential (or equivalent)
- Proven success in a senior administrative role within a school system or charter organization
- Strong knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and educational best practices
- Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, financial management, and organizational leadership
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills
Pay: $151,496.52 - $193,826.43 per year
