Julia Valler Event Staffing is looking for professional, energetic, and reliable Event Staff to join our team in Chicago.
We provide staff for a wide variety of events, including corporate events, private parties, trade shows, brand activations, conferences, and other special events throughout the Chicago area.
Depending on the event and your experience, opportunities may include working as a Bartender, Server, Brand Ambassador, Host/Hostess, Registration Staff, Promotional Staff, or other event support roles.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will vary depending on the position and event and may include:
- Providing professional and friendly guest service
- Greeting and assisting guests
- Serving food and beverages
- Bartending and beverage service
- Representing brands and interacting with event attendees
- Assisting with registration, check-in, and guest flow
- Supporting event setup, service, and breakdown as needed
- Following event instructions, service standards, and venue guidelines
- Maintaining a polished and professional appearance throughout the event
- Working effectively as part of an event team
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in hospitality, events, promotions, customer service, or a related field
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, reliable, punctual, and customer-service oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced event environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to reliably commute to event locations throughout the Chicago area
