Job Overview
We are seeking a Bartender/Mixologist to join our team. This is a full-time or part-time position built on a non-tipping, living wage model, allowing you to focus fully on craft and genuine hospitality—no tip-driven service, just great service.
Our bar program is rooted in seasonality, precision, and thoughtful execution. We’re looking for someone confident in both classic and contemporary cocktails, with a strong sense of professionalism and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Provide excellent hospitality by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages to management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Uphold all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and patrons.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred, particularly in a fine-dining restaurant or high-volume setting.
- Strong cash handling skills with experience using cash registers or POS systems such as Toast.
- Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for accurately processing transactions and managing tabs.
- Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and food handling practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
