What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychotherapist/Post-Doc (licensed or pre-licensed) position at Julia Rosengren Psychologist, Inc.?
Looking for a warm clinician who works well with those who have
low to motivation for change in a private practice setting. The practice specializes in
addiction and substance misuse from a non 12-step approach in addition to harm
reduction techniques. A clinician who has experience in this area or one who wants
to learn this approach is a must. This is a job for someone who wants to learn and
work with various levels of acuity.
This job is part-time (13-20 hours) with the option for full-time (25-32 hours a
week) and flexible with days/times worked. Weekday nights and/or weekend
availability is required. Supervision is provided if the clinician is pre-licensed.
Training in and outside of the practice is also provided. There are financial
incentives as the clinician’s caseload grows. Someone wanting to stay at the job for
more than one year is important.
Responsibilities: Providing individual/family psychotherapy weekly in addition to
coordinating care with other treatment providers. These weekly tasks include
completing timely documentation and administrative tasks. It is also expected that
the clinician presents themselves professionally in the community such as, social
media, online forums, etc. Options for starting groups or giving talks are also
available.
Compensation: Associates - Starting from $40-60 a clinical hour (depending on
experience and degree) and $20 an administrative hour. Licensed - Starting from
$80-90 a clinical hour and $20 an administrative hour. Bonuses and paid training
are offered as well.
Requirements:
• Must reside in San Diego and come to group supervision in-person
• Must be able to do both in-person and telehealth sessions
