About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Lead located in Encinitas, CA. The Sales Lead will assist with day-to-day operations, handle sales transactions, and provide excellent client service. Responsibilities include setting and achieving sales targets, maintaining the gallery’s visual aesthetics, planning promotional events or sales to attract new clients, reconciling daily sales reports, and more. The Sales Lead will collaborate with internal and production teams to align the gallery’s offerings with customer preferences and trends. The Sales Lead will report to and work closely with the Gallery Manager.
The ideal Salesperson is passionate about jewelry and cultivating relationships and has the ability to cultivate and grow a client following, both digitally and in-store.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- High emotional intelligence
- Experience working in a luxury retail environment
- Experience in inventory management and sales transactions
- Ability to help coordinate special promotions and maintain visual aesthetics
- CRM system management – tracking client data, preferences, purchase history. A plus if you are familiar with QuickBooks.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision
- Basic knowledge of jewelry is a plus
- Previous experience in retail sales or gallery operations is a plus
- Weekend availability and some evenings required. Availability during select holidays required.
