Position Overview
We are looking for a charismatic, knowledgeable, and polished Bartender to join our hospitality team. At Julep Farms, bartenders are more than just drink makers—they’re storytellers, conversationalists, and creators of memorable experiences. Whether mixing up a classic Old Fashioned or crafting a seasonal lavender cocktail, you’ll be at the heart of the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests and create a relaxed, engaging bar environment.
- Mix, garnish, and serve a variety of craft cocktails, wines, and beers with consistency and care.
- Offer thoughtful recommendations, upsell signature drinks, and educate guests on our seasonal menu.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including setup, breakdown, and restocking.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, respond to requests, and resolve concerns with grace and efficiency.
- Handle cash and POS transactions with accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth, timely service during high-volume periods and events.
- Support private events, cocktail classes, and seasonal programming as needed.
- Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.
Qualifications
- 1 years of bartending/mixology experience in a full-service or upscale setting required.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, spirits, and Southern beverage trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—Southern charm encouraged!
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during peak hours.
- Must be 21 and able to obtain or maintain a TIPS or ServSafe Certificate for serving alcohol.
- Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register.
- Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
- Available to work days, nights, weekends, and some holidays.
