General Purpose:
The Executive Director of Judson Park is responsible for leading the overall operations of the campus including Independent Living, Assisted Living and Health Center and those services that support these programs either directly through a Judson service or through a contract agreement with a third-party provider. The ED is responsible for ensuring cost-efficient, high-quality programs that meet residents’ needs, meet Federal and State licensure certification and accreditation requirements. The ED is also part of the Judson Corporate Team, a strategic planning group identifying challenges and opportunities for mission advancement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the overall quality of all Judson Park programs and services.
· Responsible for developing and managing the board approved operational and capital budget for Judson Park.
· Directly oversees the management of Director of Dining Services, Director of Security and Transportation, Director of Environmental Services, Director of Maintenance, Office Manager, purchasing and receptionist.
· Work in collaboration with support staff to ensure members’ needs are being met through internal and/or external support systems.
· Responsible for ensuring that the physical condition of the building is maintained according to company operating, safety, building and Ohio Department of Health standards for AL/IL/SNF.
· Coordinate with team members and contractors regarding resident (member) move-ins, relocations and unit customizations.
· Attend Medical Advisory, Admissions, IT and other committees as assigned.
· Responsible for occupancy goals being met in collaboration with VP of Sales and Sales associates.
· Participates with corporate management team in monitoring and identifying internal and external trends and using the information to forecast opportunities and challenges for promoting the current and future health of the organization.
· Manage annual capital projects in conjunction with contractors and VP of Project Management as needed.
· Manage major renovation projects from post occupancy meetings, design and development, construction to punch list while being sensitive to residents occupying the building and assuring their needs are being met during the disruptive time of construction.
· Responsible for providing good communication with members, their family and friends, and associates.
· Works with President and VP of Judson Foundation on soliciting participation in Judson major gift campaigns.
· Oversee compliance of standards for licensure, certification and accreditation.
· Attend Judson Services Board meetings and other committee meetings as assigned.
· Work with Human Resources and department managers to maintain a pleasant working environment and
that promotes good customer service skills while promoting personalized service.
· Participate in appropriate local and state professional programs related to organization (i.e., Leading Age,
Leading Age Ohio, and Alzheimer’s Association).
· Represents Judson at other internal or external meetings as assigned by Judson’s CEO/COO.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Certifications:
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and/or LNHA licensure preferred.
· Knowledge of Ohio Department of Health Guidelines.
· Minimum of 10 years of management experience, including budget preparations, supervision, and marketing/sales experience.
· Ability to understand member expectations within a high customer service-focused community.
· Excellent communication, organizational, customer service, and time management skills.
· Computer literacy required, including strong skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and building management software.
· Ability to routinely travel locally and periodically work a non-traditional schedule/outside regular business hours if needed.
Physical Requirements: Communication skills including articulation and enunciation to be heard and understood. Physical demands may include standing or sitting for extended periods, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs., climbing stairs, bending, stooping, and repetitive motion.
Working Conditions: Must be able to travel through and be visible throughout South Franklin Circle’s campus. Flexibility in work hours may be necessary.
