What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support portfolio trading, rebalancing, cash management, and investment implementation across client accounts.
- Utilize Tamarac, Schwab, Excel, and internal systems to manage and enhance portfolio operations workflows.
- Monitor client cash balances to ensure alignment with investment strategy and liquidity needs.
- Build and refine Excel-based models, dashboards, templates, and recurring analytical processes.
- Partner closely with advisors on complex client analyses, custom modeling, and investment-related decision frameworks.
- Prepare client-facing analysis and presentation materials related to investments, liquidity, taxes, and planning tradeoffs.
- Serve as a key internal resource for portfolio operations, reporting questions, trading workflows, and process execution.
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce manual tasks, improve accuracy, and build scalable infrastructure.
- Communicate with clients as needed regarding portfolio activity, trade execution, market conditions, and analytical projects.
- Collaborate with senior advisors and leadership to preserve institutional knowledge while helping modernize systems and workflows for future growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience within an RIA, private wealth management firm, multifamily office, trust company, or similar financial services environment.
- Background in portfolio trading, investment operations, portfolio management, rebalancing, or investment analysis.
- Series 65 or Series 66 license required or willingness to obtain shortly after hire.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build financial models, manipulate data, automate workflows, and create reporting tools.
- Familiarity with Tamarac or comparable portfolio management and rebalancing platforms.
- Experience working with Schwab or another major custodial platform strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly explain complex analytical concepts.
- Comfort operating in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where team members contribute across functions.
