Full time Behavioral Therapists/ Mental Health Assistant-MHA wanted- (Up
to\$26/hr.) The Judge Rotenberg Educational Center Inc. (JRC) is a day
and residential school located in Canton, Massachusetts licensed to
serve ages five through adult. Since 1971, JRC has provided very
effective education and treatment to both emotionally disturbed students
with conduct, behavior, emotional, and/or psychiatric problems, as well
as those with intellectual disabilities or on the autism spectrum. We
currently seek Full time direct care workers for entry level and
supervisory positions. The direct care, entry-level positions are
responsible for a variety of duties relating to and primarily concerned
with implementing the students\' treatment and educational programs.
Direct care individuals provide services/interventions that support
skill development and mastery for students/clients within JRC\'s school
and residential components. They also maintain a safe environment for
students/clients to thrive academically, while providing consistent
treatment that leads to reduction of problem behaviors. This position
affords a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience with and
knowledge of the current methods for treating those on the autism
spectrum or those with conduct disorders or psychiatric issues. It is an
hourly non-exempt position. Hours of work are assigned on a weekly basis
and can be comprised of any day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts.
Hours of work may also be a combination of shifts (1 st 2nd and 3 rd
shifts) where working straight through multiple days to minimize the
travel back and forth to work. This Direct Care position leads to
advancement opportunities within JRC. Applications are accepted on a
walk-in basis, Monday-Friday 9am-4pm; we also conduct interviews on the
