Network Operations Analyst

Location: Cincinnati, OH
Salary: $40.00 USD Hourly - $45.00 USD Hourly
Description: About the Role
As a Network Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of WAN, LAN, and customer-facing Wi-Fi infrastructure. You'll triage, diagnose, and remediate network incidents, working closely with end users, technology partners, and internal teams to maintain high availability and service levels.
Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to WAN, LAN, and WLAN infrastructure.
• Act as a technical SME for customer-facing network environments.
• Diagnose and remediate network alerts to meet SLA targets for availability and mean-time-to-repair.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for WAN, LAN, and wireless incidents, including SD-WAN platforms.
• Manage incidents involving VSAT, cellular, wired, and wireless networks.
• Escalate high-priority issues to Level 3 teams promptly.
• Facilitate critical incident calls and provide operational support.
• Create and review network change documentation and procedures.
• Perform proactive maintenance on routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Support implementation of new network devices.
• Utilize tools such as ServiceNow, WhatUp Gold, and Arista/Aruba networks.
• Assist with network requests for new site setups and installations.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in network technologies.
• Strong knowledge of WAN, LAN, and wireless infrastructures.
• Proficiency in routing and switching protocols.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN platforms.
• Experience troubleshooting routers and switches (HP preferred).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Linux-based/Cisco/Arista routers and Aruba/Cisco switches.
• Familiarity with XIQ wireless access points and Aruba EdgeConnect SD-WAN.
• Knowledge of Linux OS and network monitoring tools.
• Desire to learn and stay current with emerging technologies.
