Location: Sunset, UT Salary: $30.00 USD Hourly - $35.00 USD Hourly Description: Our client is currently seeking a Technical Design 2
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain engineering drawings
Prepare design layouts and modify existing designs
Investigates and resolves moderately-complex manufacturing process, or engineering related issues
Verify accuracy of engineering data produced by others
Revise and maintain standard operating procedures for technical design
3D Model existing equipment
Required Skills:
Experience with Computer Aided Design tools (AutoCAD, CATIA, & NX)
Experience in Microsoft tools (Word, Power Point, Excel)
Ability to read, interpret, and following blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings,
specifications, bill of materials, and other written instructions or procedures
Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities, and data needed for defining delivery configurations (e.g., design definition, program directives, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics, functional tests, supplier data)
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in Design Engineering
Experience effectively communicating and collaborating on multi-discipline teams
Experience with identifying required material types for parts and components
Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines (e.g., design, test)
Education / Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
