Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join their growing data team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering the chance to work on critical data initiatives, including governance, data modeling, and advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms
- Perform data analysis, data modeling, and support data governance initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, analytics, and business teams
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across systems
- Support and enhance data workflows in a cloud-based environment
Required Qualifications (Must Have)
- Strong programming experience in Java or Python
- Hands-on expertise with AWS cloud services
- Experience working with Apache Spark and Databricks
- Proficiency in workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow
- Strong experience with Relational Databases (RDBMS)
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Experience with Snowflake
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases
Interview Process
- Two rounds of interviews
- Onsite participation required
