Role Overview

This role will lead and manage several strategic platform and architecture initiatives as productized capabilities, ensuring scalability, standardization, and enterprise adoption. These efforts are focused on building reusable, governed, and self-service technology foundations across cloud and hybrid environments.

Preference for candidates based onsite in Jersey City (JC).
Key Responsibilities

• Manage strategic architecture and platform initiatives as productized offerings, with defined roadmaps, standards, and adoption models
• Drive design and execution of scalable, reusable architecture solutions across cloud and hybrid environments
• Partner with engineering, platform, and enterprise architecture teams to ensure alignment with organizational standards
• Establish governance, guardrails, and lifecycle management for architecture and platform capabilities
• Enable self-service provisioning and automation through standardized blueprints and frameworks
• Communicate vision, progress, and value of platform products to senior stakeholders

Strategic Product Areas
Architecture as Code (AaC)

• Define architecture standards and guardrails in version-controlled, machine-readable formats
• Align architecture definitions directly with infrastructure blueprints
• Enable architecture to become executable, repeatable, and auditable at scale
• Promote consistency and compliance through automated enforcement of design standards

Platform Architecture & Engineering

• Build and manage a reusable blueprint factory for AWS and hybrid environments
• Develop standardized, policy-governed blueprints that package:
  • Infrastructure
  • Security
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Observability
• Enable self-service provisioning through fully integrated platform capabilities
• Ensure extensibility, scalability, and governance across all platform offerings

Technology Radar

• Establish and maintain an enterprise-wide view of:
  • Tools
  • Platforms
  • Frameworks
  • Languages
  • Techniques
• Define a shared lifecycle model (e.g., assess, trial, adopt, retire)
• Create a centralized system of record to guide technology decisions
• Drive consistency and transparency in technology selection and adoption across teams

What You'll Bring

• Experience managing technology initiatives as products with clear ownership and outcomes
• Strong background in enterprise architecture, platform engineering, or cloud strategy
• Ability to translate complex architectural concepts into scalable, reusable solutions
• Experience working across cross-functional teams in large enterprise environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS and hybrid cloud environments
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and platform automation
• Background in enterprise standards, governance, and architecture frameworks
