We are seeking an experienced CAD Designer to support advanced design and documentation efforts. This role involves creating detailed drawings and 2D/3D models while translating complex customer and engineering requirements into accurate design outputs.
Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and maintain sketches, working drawings, and contract documents using CAD software
- Develop high-quality 2D and 3D models aligned with project and customer specifications
- Interpret and apply detailed customer requirements, data sheets, and supplier specifications
- Read and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Prepare and maintain supporting design documentation
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance
- Apply established drafting standards, engineering concepts, and industry terminology
Qualifications
- 8 years of professional experience in CAD design or drafting
- Strong proficiency with CAD tools and the client's specific design application
- Solid understanding of drafting techniques and engineering fundamentals
- Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and requirements
- High level of attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Nice to Have
- Experience preparing designs for contract or production-ready documentation
- Exposure to multiple CAD platforms or advanced modeling environments
