- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain integrations and APIs using Anypoint Studio and the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Build high-quality RAML specifications and apply API-led connectivity principles across System, Process, and Experience layers.
- Implement secure API designs, including OAuth 2.0, TLS/mTLS, and client ID enforcement.
- Integrate with REST/SOAP services, SaaS applications, databases, and legacy systems.
- Develop asynchronous and event-driven integrations using JMS, Anypoint MQ, Kafka, or similar messaging platforms.
- Apply established integration patterns including orchestration, routing, transformation, and standardized error handling.
- Build and optimize DataWeave transformations for JSON, XML, CSV, and other formats.
- Configure and govern APIs in Anypoint API Manager; apply security and governance policies.
- Perform unit testing with MUnit and conduct debugging and performance optimization.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation reviews, and contribute to integration standards and best practices.
- Support QA during integration/system testing and assist in deployment activities across environments.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for APIs, integrations, and deployment processes.
- Stay informed on MuleSoft platform updates, connectors, and emerging industry integration trends.
- Review intake notes, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with architects, leads, and stakeholders to refine requirements and define technical specifications.
- Participate in design discussions for API contracts (RAML), data mappings, sequence diagrams, and integration flows.
- Develop MuleSoft integrations based on approved technical designs.
- Deliver code within the sprint, aligned with development standards and integration patterns.
- Join Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot defects during QA and UAT cycles, providing timely clarifications.
- Support deployments and partner with support teams for production readiness.
- 3 years of software development experience.
- 1 year of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Strong experience designing APIs and building RAML specifications.
- Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or SAFe.
- Solid understanding of API security, governance, and policy enforcement.
- Experience with message queues and event-driven architecture.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns (EIPs).
- Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP, JSON, XML, and DataWeave.
- MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1 (MCD).
- Experience using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools (CloudHub logs, SumoLogic, New Relic, DynaTrace, etc.).
