Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, leveraging core Google Cloud Platform services and integrations, including AI-enabled services where applicable.
- Implement and manage cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with a strong preference for Terraform.
- Hands-on deployment and management of:
- Cloud Run
- Internal Load Balancers
- Cloud Storage Buckets
- Custom IAM roles and permissions
- Pub/Sub messaging services
- Develop and maintain Git/Terraform/Google Cloud Platform workflows to ensure consistent, repeatable, and secure deployments.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
- Collaborate effectively in a multi-vendor environment, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with Google consultants, ensuring alignment on architecture, best practices, and delivery timelines.
- Contribute to cloud architecture decisions, security best practices, and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services and cloud-native architectures
- Proven experience deploying production workloads using Terraform
- Solid understanding of IAM, networking, and security within Google Cloud Platform
- Experience working in enterprise or large-scale cloud environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI or ML integrations within Google Cloud Platform
- Prior experience in insurance or financial services environments
- Exposure to hybrid or multi-cloud architectures
