Description: Our client is currently seeking a Data Warehousing/ETL Consultant
Key Responsibilities
- Rewrite and refactor existing ETL/data movement logic to support new upstream data sources while preserving existing warehouse structures
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and performance tuning
- Build, modify, and maintain integrations using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) - Data Integration module
- Develop and enhance SSIS packages and SQL Server Agent jobs using Microsoft Visual Studio
- Analyze source-to-target mappings and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and performance
- Collaborate closely with internal data engineers, analysts, and architects in a team-based environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve ETL failures, data quality issues, and performance bottlenecks
- Participate in code reviews and follow established development and deployment standards
Required Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience developing, executing, and optimizing complex SQL queries
- Strong, recent experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) - specifically the Data Integration module
- Experience with Informatica PowerCenter alone will not be sufficient
- Proven experience creating and modifying SSIS packages and jobs in Microsoft Visual Studio
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL patterns, and relational database design
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
