Position: GNC Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 12 months contract
Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities for guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems.
- Integrate GNC software into simulations and flight software environments using configuration management tools.
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug software implementing logical and mathematical solutions to GNC algorithms.
- Coordinate pipelines, automated test execution, and Monte Carlo simulation runs on large-scale compute clusters.
- Apply industry standards, processes, procedures, and tools consistently across the software development life cycle.
- Leverage expertise in computer hardware, software, mission applications, and information processing techniques to deliver robust solutions.
- Diagnose and correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, and compile documentation of software development activities.
- Analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
