Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Analysis
- Identify products and components requiring evaluation in the software review process.
- Define test strategies, including selection of test types, coverage, scenarios, and test data.
- Maintain and manage test data, documenting outcomes for each test cycle and identifying defects.
Execution & Reporting
- Perform system diagnostics, functional tests, regression tests, and performance tests.
- Prepare clear, accurate test reports and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Track defects, monitor resolution progress, and validate fixes in collaboration with development teams.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with software developers, product owners, and validation teams to ensure strong communication flow.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure requirements are fully understood and implemented correctly.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify redundant functions, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Enhance personal and team knowledge of business applications, user needs, and industry expectations.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, protocols, and best practices in testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Test Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of software development and programming concepts.
- Hands-on experience with test techniques, tools, and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid reporting skills with the ability to produce clear, structured technical documentation.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Effective team player with good communication and project management capabilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage tasks efficiently.
