Manufacturing Manager
We are seeking a results-driven and visionary Manufacturing Manager to lead our manufacturing operation to deliver sustained excellence across all facets of production.
Location: East Stroudsburg, PA
Compensation: $115,000 - $135,000 base salary Profit Share Bonus = 7% ($8,500 give or take).

Notes: 2 Production Supervisors, 35 Production employees, 100,000 square foot facility. Continuous Line Manufacturing Operation with an 8 Step process (coil to carrier, foam laydown, edge detailing, and cooling).
Job Description:
Operational Leadership & Performance: Provide strong day-to-day leadership across production, shipping and receiving, and maintenance departments to consistently achieve safety, quality, delivery, and output targets. Hold site leaders accountable for performance metrics and disciplined execution against production schedules. Drive alignment across all departments — including Production, Engineering, Quality, Planning, Procurement, Inventory Control, and HR — to eliminate delays and optimize operational flow. Maintain and improve production processes to minimize scrap and misfab ratios as well as maintaining desired quality of goods produced. Represent the operation at the value stream and division levels, and serve as the customer-facing focal point, directly addressing concerns and presenting a clear message of support and satisfaction.
Lean, Continuous Improvement & Strategy Deployment: Lead strategy deployment for the operation with a concentrated focus on Lean initiatives and asset management. Apply Kaizen and Six Sigma principles to improve process efficiency, quality, and repeatability. Drive the identification and elimination of production bottlenecks, workflow gaps, and process inefficiencies. Standardize best practices across all facilities and ensure Lean methodology is fully embraced and implemented throughout the organization.
Workforce Development & Culture: Build and sustain a high-performance culture grounded in safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide hands-on leadership through coaching, mentoring, counseling, and talent development to advance the skills and careers of employees at all levels. Develop strong site leadership by empowering managers to independently lead their functional areas. Implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement and morale, including recognition programs, team-building activities, and regular feedback sessions. Promote a culture where new ideas and positive change are celebrated.
Financial & Budget Management: Develop and manage operating budgets with a clear focus on profitability and value creation. Achieve value stream, division, and corporate goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape within the geographical area of responsibility to inform strategic and financial decisions.
Operational Systems, KPIs & Metrics Ensure daily operations are governed by KPIs that clearly connect Division, Operations, and Value Stream objectives through defined management standard work. Leverage ERP/MRP systems to maintain accurate production, inventory, and fulfillment data. Monitor labor performance, overtime, and productivity, and translate data-driven insights into measurable operational improvements.
Inventory, Logistics & Production Control: Ensure the operation maintains adequate inventory levels and effective production control scheduling. Oversee shipping and receiving logistics to support seamless fulfillment and customer delivery commitments.
Equipment Reliability & Facility Management Ensure equipment uptime and facility readiness through proactive maintenance planning and execution. Maintain operational compliance with company standards, union labor agreements, and all applicable safety regulations and industry requirements.
Quality & Compliance: Partner with the Quality Manager to ensure operations support the company's Quality Management System and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 standards. Reinforce process discipline, corrective action execution, and a culture of quality across all facilities.
Qualifications Seeking:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Manufacturing or a related field required. An
10 years of progressive Operations leadership with quantifiable results in a complex, high-mix manufacturing environment
Demonstrated success leading multiple teams or departments of considerable size and diverse functionality
Proven ability to lead leaders, manage workforce planning, and build high-performing teams
Strong industrial or manufacturing engineering experience, including optimizing or scaling production lines
Experience with ERP/MRP systems for production visibility, inventory accuracy, and operational decision-making
Deep knowledge of Lean methodology, Kaizen, and Six Sigma principles; Green Belt certification or equivalent experience preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership capabilities
Demonstrated ability to create and implement a vision that motivates and sustains a drive for excellence
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems and structured quality management practices
