Proven experience managing the entire purchasing process.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source and procure industrial equipment and components efficiently.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to achieve savings.
- Process purchase orders and manage vendor acknowledgments/confirmations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely material deliveries.
- Evaluate supplier performance for quality, cost, and delivery.
- Resolve invoicing discrepancies and material non-conformance issues.
- Maintain accurate buying records within the ERP system.
- Opportunity to advance into a Purchasing Manager role.
REQUIREMENTS
- Two or more years of professional buying experience.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills required.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
